Parish Council Update

In view of the Coronavirus pandemic the Government has said that all Parish Council public meetings are to be cancelled for the foreseeable future.

We list below some points of contact/information that may be of some use.

For those wishing to volunteer to assist in these difficult times –

In your travels around the Parish you may see a red item displayed in a house window. This is a sign that the occupant may require some form of assistance. If you approach to offer help please remember the 6 foot rule and if possible speak through a partially open window or door.

The Government advises that there continue to be a number of key resources for information and you can now subscribe direct to the .gov.uk coronavirus bulletins at

The .gov.uk pages publish information, guidance and advice across the government agencies including the NHS and Public Health England.

Cornwall Council has a special page of updates, information and advice specific to the Duchy. In particular it details support available around council tax and benefits, adult and social care, schools and local businesses. The webpages are updated regularly and can be accessed at

We hope that this information will be of use during these trying times.
